Internship - Creative Associate

We’re creative marketers. Our clients rely on us to ideate, plan, and execute creative marketing campaigns that help them reach their target markets and grow their organizations. We’re looking for a motivated, hard-working, design-minded individual to join our team on a part time basis as an Intern – Creative Associate to help serve our clients (and learn as you work!).

Position Type: 1099 Contractor

Hourly Rate: $15 per hour

Location: Hybrid: 1871 (Merchandise Mart) Chicago, IL and Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop comprehensive campaign strategies for web, social media, email, and advertising channels.

  • Assist in conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive landscapes.

  • Brainstorm creative concepts and ideas for campaign content, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand identity.

  • Create compelling and visually appealing content for digital platforms, including graphics, videos, and written copy.

  • Assist in the execution of campaigns by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and optimizing content for maximum impact.

  • Support the team in tracking and analyzing campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and creative design.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.

  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Proficiency in video editing tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and Google Analytics.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges.

  • Previous internship or work experience in marketing or advertising is a plus, but certainly not required for our interns!
